The very first 298 game recorded in the PDBA, Inc. was rolled on December
21, 1981 by John Maitland at Walnut Hill Lanes in Petersburg, VA. Through the 2007/08 season, several bowlers holds the honor of rolling the most
298 games (4) in PDBA competition.
